How to Properly Wear Your Aligners

Now that you’ve invested in your smile with aligners, you want to make sure you get the most out of them by wearing them correctly. In this YouTube video, a member of our staff demonstrates the proper way to securely place the aligners, using the green aligner chewies. You’ll be given a pair every time you come in.

To get optimal results, it’s important to wear the aligners around the clock, only removing them for eating and cleaning your teeth, and drinking any hot liquid, such as coffee or tea.

When not wearing them, it’s crucial to securely store them in the container we provide you, and keep them out of reach of pets. Clean them with a brush; no toothpaste is needed, as it can scratch the aligners. For any build-up, you can use a denture cleaner.

Dr Foot (Orthodontist) will let you know at each visit how often you need to change your aligners.
